We are really happy that from Monday the 20th July our walls will host the exhibition „My Not So Early Paintings from Athens“ @bonanzagelly

My Not So Early Paintings**

**“And… why?” **“Because.”**

This paintings came about almost by accident. I wanted to gather together a series of thoughts and motions that had been accompanying me for some time—small stories I didn’t know how to tell in any other way.

These paintings are not really „early“ works, nor are they exactly recent. They belong to a period of transition, where uncertainty, experimentation, and the need to keep creating coexisted. Looking back at them now, I see questions rather than answers.

Some images emerged unexpectedly: fish in a bathtub, endless questions, fragments of memory, colors that insisted on staying. They became ways of observing what was changing—both around me and within me.

Perhaps these paintings are simply traces of that movement. Perhaps they are an attempt to preserve something that would otherwise disappear.
